You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel and transferred to Wilson Airport for the scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. The flight takes approximately one hour and offers scenic views over the Great Rift Valley and the rolling landscapes that lead into the Mara ecosystem.
Upon landing in the Masai Mara, the camp guide will meet you at the airstrip and transfer you to Basecamp Masai Mara, with a short game drive en route depending on arrival time and wildlife movement. After check-in, lunch will be served at camp, followed by time to settle in and enjoy the surroundings.
In the afternoon, depart for a guided game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve. This first drive introduces the open savannah, acacia-dotted plains, and riverine habitats that make the Mara one of East Africa’s most celebrated wildlife areas. Watch for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and possible cheetah or leopard sightings before returning to camp for dinner.

Spend the day exploring the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives.
