  • Cancellations made 60 days or more before arrival will receive a full refund, less administrative fees.
  • Cancellations made 30–59 days before arrival may incur a 25% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made 15–29 days before arrival may incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival are generally non-refundable.
  • In the unlikely event that the operator must cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances, guests will be offered an alternative departure date or a full refund.

What To Expect

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Your East African adventure begins with your arrival in Nairobi, where you’ll be welcomed by your safari guide before departing for the world-famous Masai Mara. The drive south offers views of the Great Rift Valley before the landscape gradually opens into the sweeping savannahs that make this region so iconic.

Arriving at your safari lodge in the afternoon, you’ll settle in before heading out for your first game drive in the Masai Mara, where wildlife sightings often begin within minutes.

Day 2: Masai Mara – Full Day Safari

Today is dedicated to exploring the remarkable wildlife of the Masai Mara. Early morning and afternoon game drives take you across rolling grasslands dotted with acacia trees. The reserve is home to an impressive variety of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, and countless antelope species.

Your guide will navigate tracks across the reserve in search of wildlife activity while sharing insights about animal behavior and the delicate balance of this ecosystem.

Day 3 & 4: Balloon Safari & Maasai Culture

On Day 3, before sunrise, you’ll set out for a memorable hot air balloon safari over the Masai Mara. Floating silently above the plains, you’ll witness wildlife from an entirely different perspective as the sun rises over the savannah. Later in the day, you’ll visit a traditional Maasai village where local community members share aspects of their culture, traditions, and daily life.

On Day 4, With another full day in the reserve, there is ample opportunity to explore different areas of the Mara ecosystem. Depending on the season, you may encounter large migratory herds or dramatic predator interactions.

The day can include both morning and afternoon game drives, with time to relax at the lodge between excursions.

Day 5: Masai Mara to Serengeti (via Isebania Border)

After breakfast, you’ll begin your journey south toward Tanzania, crossing the border at Isebania Border. Border formalities are completed before continuing into the vast plains of the Serengeti.

As you enter the Serengeti National Park, the landscape stretches endlessly in every direction. An afternoon game drive introduces you to one of the most famous wildlife ecosystems on earth.

Day 6: Serengeti – Endless Plains

Spend the day exploring the Serengeti’s remarkable wildlife habitats. The park’s open plains provide excellent opportunities to spot predators such as lions and cheetahs as well as large herds of zebra and wildebeest.

Your guide will track wildlife movements across the park while ensuring plenty of time for photography and observation.

Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro

After a morning game drive, depart for the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is known for its volcanic landscapes and the famous Ngorongoro Crater.

Arriving in the late afternoon, you’ll settle into your lodge overlooking the dramatic escarpments of the crater highlands.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater & Flight to Zanzibar

Today begins with an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, often described as one of Africa’s greatest natural wildlife sanctuaries. The crater floor supports an incredible concentration of animals, including elephants, lions, buffalo, and the endangered black rhino.

Later in the afternoon, you’ll transfer to Arusha for your flight to Zanzibar, where warm ocean breezes and white sandy beaches welcome you.

Day 9 & 10: Zanzibar – Island Adventures

Today is dedicated to discovering the rich culture and natural beauty of Zanzibar. Begin with a guided walking tour of historic Stone Town, where winding alleys, carved wooden doors, and bustling markets reflect centuries of trade and culture.

You’ll get to visit a spice plantation to learn about the island’s famous spices before enjoying the turquoise waters during a Safari Blue excursion. Within the two days, you’ll have plenty of time to relax and unwind.

Day 11: Zanzibar – Departure

Your final morning in Zanzibar is yours to enjoy. Relax by the beach, take a refreshing swim in the Indian Ocean, or simply soak in the peaceful island atmosphere before your transfer to the airport for your onward journey.

Your safari may be ending, but the memories of East Africa’s wildlife, landscapes, and warm hospitality will travel home with you.
